Task & Solution
With the SP2000 robotic analyzer, Skalar Analytical B.V. automates a variety of analyses in water laboratories. With the latest application for total suspended solids (TSS) analysis, the entire filter weighing process is now also automated. In this process, a water sample is passed through a filter, which is then dried and weighed again. The difference in weight determines the amount of solids in the water. Our MGD800 3-jaw centric gripper ensures precise handling of the filters, which is crucial for the reliability of the measurement. In this way, our gripper technology contributes to a fully automated and reproducible analysis process.
